working on our night moves - OSI

Moon rise over the mountain,
a fresh spring wind in the woods,
through the camera lens,
my spirit breaks free,
clean, light, unencumbered by
aching joints or uncertain steps,
and dances into the dark night.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

My aching bones say yes all over this and thank you friend. We are too tired to punctuate but oh so grateful!

I can see exactly why this view perked you up. It is lovely, and your poem, too.

The camera is transformative isn't it? Getting shots like this one is the surest cure I now for those aching places. Well done.

We can dream about the things our 'camera lens' finds can't we? In our dreams there can be a perfect world for the wishing.

Reminds me, I have an overdue video tape from the library, 'Alice in Wonderland.' I want to watch that before we see 'Alice 2.' I did finish reading the book because I had never read it before.
It might be at the Red Boxes before we get our aching bones ready.

Oh yes, 'onion' rhymes with 'opinion' for my OSI ditty.
Thank you for commenting about that one. I am smiling still.

Lovely! Interesting how sometimes lenses can free us and lessen the encumberances we encounter in our lives. Very beautifully expressed.

Sue, this is superb! I could feel the night dancing, the escape through the lens. How utterly lovely!

It is amazing how a hobby like photography can set us free. Nothing but the "shot" becomes our focus. Focusing on the subject, becomes all there is. I can relate to this.
