One Single Impression -- Doodles

reformed perfectionist

when young, each task
a masterpiece must be;
no master, my path was strewn
with half-filled canvases,
till lesson learned,
in life as well as art,
sometimes a doodle
will suffice.

Sue, these are quite a few steps above doodling! You are an artist. I enjoyed your poem.

actually, Sandy, those are the unfinished "masterpieces"(?).

When they're this good it IS art.
Marvellous.

There's as much wisdom as there is art in this post!

Hi my name is Beth, and I'm a reformed perfectionist...

Sue, your poem made me smile with recognition and bitter-sweet seasick feeling...

Thank you so much!

Sue, these are lovely line drawings. The arrangement is so attractive. And, I would totally agree with the verse for I have learned this along the path. Thanks for this.
